THE SHOREHAM FOLK SESSION
On the Third Monday of each month
8.30 for 9.00pm
@ The Crabtree, Shoreham-by-sea
This is a traditional folk music round-table session; performers take it in turns to lead a song or a tune with others joining in or listening as they wish. Musicians and audience welcome. Free entry for all!
This folk music session has been continuously taking place in various pubs in the town for about 30 years.
You might hear all kinds of instruments for example, fiddle, guitar, accordion, melodeon, flute, penny whistle, hurdy-gurdy, bag-pipes and who knows what else. Also songs of the sea, ballads, shanties and folk standards.
All performers and audience are very welcome.
